How to use your Core Keeper server

Follow these steps from purchase and connection through configuration and safe updates.

  1. 01

    Purchase and automatic setup

    Choose a plan and Core Keeper is installed automatically on a dedicated VM. Wait until the server address appears on the management page.

  2. 02

    Connect from the game

    Copy the IP and game port into Core Keeper's direct-connect screen or server browser. Complete any game-specific authentication notice first.

  3. 03

    Manage settings, mods and files

    Change supported options in the web console and use the provided SFTP account for maps or large mod files. Keep a copy before editing files.

  4. 04

    Back up before updating

    Ask players to disconnect and stop the server cleanly. Confirm the backup, run the version update, then verify that players can reconnect.

Operations tip: Player estimates assume default settings. Watch memory usage and upgrade the plan when using large worlds or many mods.
