How to use your DayZ server
Follow these steps from purchase and connection through configuration and safe updates.

Purchase and automatic setup
Choose a plan and DayZ is installed automatically on a dedicated VM. Wait until the server address appears on the management page.

Connect from the game
Copy the IP and game port into DayZ's direct-connect screen or server browser. Complete any game-specific authentication notice first.

Manage settings, mods and files
Change supported options in the web console and use the provided SFTP account for maps or large mod files. Keep a copy before editing files.

Back up before updating
Ask players to disconnect and stop the server cleanly. Confirm the backup, run the version update, then verify that players can reconnect.
